Some of my favorite works have happened by accident.
One windy night in Europe, I was mid-shoot—tripod locked, framing a city scene just after dusk—when a sudden gust nudged my camera mid-exposure. I groaned, assuming the image was lost to blur. But later, back in the editing process, I opened that photo… and paused.
What I saw wasn’t a technical failure—it was a beautiful, dreamlike collision of color and motion. Light appearing like brushstrokes. Shapes dissolved into sensation. And something clicked inside me: What if I leaned into this? What if I let go a little more?
That one unexpected frame became the seed for Fragments & Frequencies—my latest abstract photography collection, built through movement, instinct, and the electric joy of creating something unplanned but deeply felt.
Painting with the Camera
Each image in this series was captured at night, surrounded by glowing city lights, reflections, flickers from passing trains, cars, boats, and moments of stillness in between. I roamed European streets with my gear and a head full of ideas, but no rigid plan. I loosened the rules. I experimented. I let my tripod breathe. Sometimes I moved the camera with intention—slow arcs or sharp flicks. Other times, I let serendipity guide the way.
I wasn’t chasing clarity. I was chasing emotion.
This was photography at its most freeing: intuitive, playful, and full of surprise. I was fully present, lost in the rhythm of color and space, creating images that felt like visual echoes—fragments of memory, pulses of light.
